Visa Invitation and Voucher
You will need the Visa support Invitation and voucher document to enable you to obtain a Russian Visa from the Russian Consulate.

Date of Entry and Departure
The dates your Russian visa valid for. You cannot enter Russia before your 'Date of Entry' and you cannot stay after your 'Date of Departure', however you are flexible to go in and out of the country anytime within these dates. You can only obtain a tourist visa for a maximum of 30days.

About the Russian Visa
All foreign citizens (except citizens of some former Soviet republics) visiting Russia will need to obtain a Russian visa before travel.

Russian Visa and Children

Children require separate visas if they travel on their own passports. They also require seperate Visa Invitation documents. Non-traveling parents must confirm in an affidavit their consent for their children's travel. If the childs surname differs from that of his or her parents, a copy of the childs birth certificate must be enclosed.

Medical Insurance

Medical insurance is required for the citizens of the following countries: Israel and Finland and Estonia, as well as for the citizens of Schengen Agreement Member States (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain). Medical insurance is not required for US citizens.

Russian Tourist Visa

Russian Tourist visas are issued for a period of up to 30 days, but normally 14 days without full itinerary scheduled. They can be single entry or double entry. To order a visa, you must submit in person or send in the following documents to a Russian Consulate in your country. You may also apply for a visa through a third party agent acting on your behalf.

Russian Business Visa

Single-entry and double-entry Business Visas are issued for no longer than 90 days. Multiple entry business visas are issued for a period of either 6 or 12 months and must be approved by either the Interior Ministry of the Russian Federation or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. All take upto 1 month to process the invitation documents before an application can be made at the Russian Consualte.
